【课 时】2课时

一、教学目标

1. 能听懂、会说句型I’m going to ... for her. Today is her birthday. How about ...? Good idea! Happy birthday to you! Are you going to have a birthday party? Yes, I am. Happy birthday to you!并能在创设的语境中熟练运用。

2. 能灵活运用所学句型与他人谈论生日的话题。

教师准备:

1. Let’s talkLook and talk部分的多媒体课件。

2. Let s talk部分的教学音频。

3. Let’s talk部分的人物头饰

4. Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片。

5. 若干张写有Let’s talk部分的句子的纸条。

三、教学方法建议

课程导入(Leading In)

(1)课前复习

1. 我说你指

教师将所准备的Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片贴在黑板上的不同位置,教师随意说一个词汇,学生重复一遍,并快速做出反应,指向该词汇,比比看谁指得又快又准。经过几轮比赛之后,教师可以让学生来扮演教师的角色组织游戏。

2. 我指你说

流程同上,但改为教师随意指向一个词汇卡片后,学生快速读出卡片上的词汇,比比谁读得又快又准。经过几轮比赛之后,同样可以让胜出的学生来指单词组织游戏。

(2)新课导入

Part A Warming-up: Think and tick

教师先指导学生说出与各幅图片相对应的短语,然后引导他们创设情境:假设今天是母亲生日,让学生想一想要为各自的母亲做些什么,在相应的围片下面打“√”,并就此对话:

T: What are you going to do for your mother on her birthday?

Ss: I am going to draw a picture / buy some balloons / buy some flowers / sweep the floor / sing a song / buy a birthday cake.

课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)

(1)新课展示Part A: Let’s talk

教师戴上Wu Chen的头饰,并用课件出示Let’s talk部分Wu Chen奶奶的图片,和学生做如下问答:

T: Hello! I am Wu Chen. Look at this picture. Can you guess who she is?

S1: She is your grandma.

T: Yes. She is my grandma. Today is her birthday. Let’s sayHappy birthday!to her.

Ss: Happy birthday to you, Grandma!

T: I’m going to buy a gift for her.

用课件出示花朵图片,旁边配上问句:How about flowers?并引导学生读出该问句,教师回答:

T: Good idea! And I’m going to make a card for her. We are going to have a birthday party, too!

(2)巩固活动

1. 教师播放Part A Let’s talk部分的录音,要求学生在不翻开书的情况下听录音。

2. 教师就此部分内容设置问题。参考问题如下:

What is Wu Chen going to do?

Is Wu Chen going to buy some flowers?

What are Wu Chen’s father and mother going to do?

教师随机挑选学生回答问题,检查学生对课文的掌握情况。

3. 教师再次播放录音,要求学生打开书,逐句跟读课文。

4. 教师指导学生分角色模仿课文进行对话。

5. 学生两人一组,排练对话。

6. 教师选出几组学生戴上头饰,表演对话。

学生表演完后,教师进行评价,并鼓励学生借助学过的句型编演对话。对于勇于表演的学生,教师要多加表扬,并多鼓励平时不善于表现的学生上台表演。教师可以与其组成搭档,在表演过程中对其进行引导。完成表演后,教师还可请大家以掌声表示肯定,树立其自信心,激发其学习兴趣。

操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)

(1)传句子

教师将全班分成若干组,每列为一组,然后分别发给每组最后一排的学生一张纸条,上面写上课文中的一个句子。游戏开始后,最后一排学生要立即把纸上的句子告诉他们前面的学生,听到句子的学生再把所听内容转述给更前面的学生……这样依次进行下去。最后,由每组第一排的学生将听到的句子大声说出来,传得最快、最准的组获胜。

(2)Part B Look and talk

1. 教师用课件出示本部分图片,让学生看图说短语,如:make a card, sing a birthday song, buy some flowers, have a birthday party / buy a birthday cake, buy a gift

2. 教师借助本部分的参考句型,用大屏幕出示本部分图片,师生问答:

T: What is Wu Chen going to do for her mother on the birthday?

S1: She is going to make a card.

T: What is Kevin going to do for his grandpa on the birthday?

S2: He is going to sing a birthday song.

T: What is Kitty going to do for her sister on the birthday?

S3: She is going to buy some (beautiful) flowers.

T: What is Mr. Zhao going to do for his father on the birthday?

S4: He is going to have a birthday party / buy a birthday cake.

T: What is Colin going to do for Li Shan on the birthday?

S5: He is going to buy a gift.

3. 看图会话完毕后,教师可顺势启发学生思考并回答:

T: What are you going to do for your mother on her birthday?

Ss: I am going to ...

为了提高学生答题的积极性,教师可将学生分成AB两组,教师提问,学生抢答,比比哪组回答得又快又准确!

4. 学生两人一组自主问答或A / B组发问,指定B / A组某一同学作答。
